Brand Management

Brands are another way to organize your products. Brands help organize your products by providing a structured hierarchy for categorizing and managing different product lines. In this article, you'll learn how to manage your brands. In Brands, you can add brands or manage products.

Access Brands

There are two ways to access Brands:

1. You can access brands through your PIM Dashboard by selecting the Brands tile.

2. Brands are also accessible from the left hand navigation bar.

Tip: Easily search for brands by entering in their name in your search bar.

Add Brands

To add brands to your system, submit a request through the Knowledge Engine.

Edit Brand Info

To see all brand information, navigate to the Brand Info tab.

To edit brand information:

1. Navigate to Brands under PIM in the left hand navigation bar
2. Select the brand you want to edit 
3. Navigate to the Brand Info tab
4. Click the edit icon of the right of the field you want to edit 
5. Update the information
6. Click Save

Manage Products in Brands

To manage products that are associated with a brand, navigate to the Products tab. 

To view a product record associated to the brand:

1. Navigate to Brands under PIM in the left hand navigation bar
2. Select the brand you want to view product record 
3. Navigate to the Products tab
4. Click on a product record

Manage Documents in Brands

To manage documents that are associated with a brand, navigate to the Products tab. 

To remove the document’s association to the brand:

1. Navigate to Brands under PIM in the left hand navigation bar
2. Select the brand you want to remove documents 
3. Navigate to the Documents tab
4. Click the dropdown on the right of a document row and click Remove

Delete Brands

To delete a brand:

1. Navigate to Brands under PIM in the left hand navigation bar
2. On the right of the brand row next to the View button, click the dropdown arrow
3. Click Delete

Alternatively, another way to delete a brand:

1. Navigate to Brands under PIM in the left hand navigation bar
2. Select the brand you want to delete 
3. Click the ‘…’ button in the top right corner of the brand record
4. Click Delete 

Note: Please note that deleting a brand will delete all product associations to this brand, and this is irreversible.
