Compare

In Compare, you can select up to 4 products in Search or in a Supplier's Store. The Compare page allows you to analyze similarities and differences between the properties and attributes of those products. You can also easily submit requests from the Compare page.

In this article, you'll learn about how to use Compare.

Note: This feature is available to all Buyers.

To compare items in Search or in a Supplier's Store:

1. Type in a product in search bar 
2. Select the Compare checkbox on the right of each product card (select up to 4 products)
3. Click Compare Items on the right of the Compare Bar to get to the Compare Page

Tip: Click Download PDF button after comparing items to generate a product comparison report

To remove individual items in the Compare Bar, click the cross on the top right of each item. To remove all items, click Remove All next to Compare Items.

Tip: Use the arrows to expand and collapse the Compare Bar

To submit a Sample Request from the Compare Page:

1. Click Request Sample at the bottom of the Product card 
2. Fill out the Sample Request form and provide as much detail as possible
3. The second part of the Request form will ask for information regarding delivery. It is best practice to provide as much information as possible in the Notes and Special Instruction field.
4. Click Submit to send your Sample Request to the Supplier

To submit a Request for Quote from the Compare Page:

1. Click the ‘...’ at the bottom of the Product card 
2. Click Request a Quote from the dropdown
3. Fill out all expected purchase details, relevant delivery information, and add any additional notes or special instructions
4. Click Submit to send your RFQ to the Supplier

To view a document from the Compare Page:

1. Click the ‘...’ at the bottom of the Product card
2. Click View Document from the dropdown to see the associated documents in the product page 

Note:  CXP Stores can enable or disable the product comparison feature at any time and allow signed-in or anonymous users to access it. If quote, sample, or document requests are disabled, these options will not appear on the Compare Products page.
