Placing an Order on Knowde is a quick and easy process. Our user-friendly Orders grid helps you manage your Orders and notifies you of any updates, so you know the moment when your Order ships.
In this article, you'll learn how to place an Order.
Note: This feature is available to all Buyers
To place an Order with a Supplier after receiving a Quote:

Navigate to Quotes under Procurement in the left hand sidebar to view your active Quotes

- Select the Active Quote that you would like to place an Order against

Enter the Quantity amount needed and click Add to Cart
- To ensure your order is accepted, the Quantity amount must match at least the Minimum Order Quantity on the Quote
- Click the Cart icon at the top of the screen to navigate to your Cart
- Review your Order details and adjust the Quantity if needed
- Click Proceed to Checkout at the bottom right of the page when ready

The first page of the Cart will prompt you to:
- Verify your Delivery Location
- Request a Delivery Date
- And specify any Special Instructions, if applicable

The second page of the Cart will prompt you to:
- Select a Payment Method
- Enter a Billing Address
- Enter a Purchase Order # (if applicable)
- Agree to the Terms & Conditions
- Click Place Order if all information is now accurate
- The Order Confirmation page will summarize the details of your Order

Now, you can track the fulfillment progress in real-time when you view your Order via your Orders Grid.
