Summary

This page outlines a list of common test scenarios which can be used to guide the user acceptance testing period. Please see the step by step instructions on how to execute each step and get to the expected result. This is a great tool for you to use to guide your testing and make sure all of the key features and functionality meet your expectations. It is also helpful to reference if you do not remember how a certain feature should behave.

Login & Enrollment

Sign in from Documents

  1. Navigate to your.store page as an anonymous user

  2. Click on Documents tab

  3. Click view button

Auth modal should be displayed, and after logging in you are able to view the document.

Sign in - From Request Sample

  1. As a not logged user, navigate to the Products tab

  2. Click on the first product in the list

  3. Click the Request Sample button (right side in the power box)

  4. Go through auth flow as a Buyer user 

Account Created, and you are dropped back on the same product page

Sign up - using Code

  1. As a not logged in user, click on the Sign Up button
  2. Enter a valid Email and Submit

  3. Go to your email and copy the confirmation code

  4. Type the code into the Verification modal

  5. Enter the password and select terms checkbox, click Continue

  6. Enter First and Last Name, click Continue

  7. Enter all details in the Company Info dialog, click Continue

 

Account created, user logged in (account pill in the top right corner)

Reset Password

  1. Navigate to the your.store home page as not logged in user

  2. Click Sign In button

  3. Enter Email of the already created account and click Continue

  4. Click Reset my password link and Continue

  5. Click Okay in check your email dialog

  6. Navigate to Inbox and click on Change My Password button

  7. Enter new password and submit

  1. Reset password instructions email arrived

  2. User logged in after reseting the password

Home Page

Home page - Ask your questions

  1. Navigate to your.store home page

  2. Click on 'Message us' button from Ask your questions

Messenger should open from bottom-right

Home page - Browse products by Market

  1. Navigate to your.store home page

  2. Scroll down to Browse Products by Market

  3. Click on any Market

  1. Clicking on Market opens a list of products from Market you clicked

  2. URL includes /products?category=<category-you-clicked>

Home page - Filter and sort for tab strip

  1. Navigate to the your.store home page

  2. Scroll down to section Documents / Formulations / Experts tabs

  3. Documents

    1. Change Document type and click Filter

    2. Change Most Viewed

  4. Click on Formulations

    1. Select Application and click Filter

  5. Click on Experts

    1. Click message button in any expert

  1. Filtering works correctly (list changes after changing filters)

  2. Clicking on message button in experts open messenger to selected expert

Products tab - Search bar

  1. Open store home page

  2. Navigate to Product tab

  3. Click into Search field

  4. Type any phrase

  5. Hit enter

View your search results, there will be only products shown

Products tab - Category tiles

  1. Open store page

  2. Go to Products tab (from navbar)

  3. Click on the category tile (the tile below Matching Product Categories header)

Results are now shown based on the chosen category

Products tab - Filters

  1. Open store page

  2. Go to Products tab (from the top navigation in the header)

  3. Once page is loaded, click on the any filter except Markets

  4. Select first filter from the list

  1. Filter has been added to search page (filter's tile displayed below filters button)

  2. Results are now shown based on the selected filter

Products tab - Sorting

A-Z

  1. Open store page

  2. Go to Products

  3. Click on the sort by list

  4. Select Alpha A-Z

Z-A

  1. Open store page

  2. Go to Products

  3. Click on the sort by list

  4. Select Alpha Z-A

Relevance

  1. Open store page

  2. Go to Products

  3. Click on the sort by list

  4. Select Relevance

Most Viewed

  1. Open store page

  2. Go to Products

  3. Click on the sort by list

  4. Select Most Viewed

A-Z Results are sorted by alphanumeric ascending
Z-A Results are sorted by alphanumeric descending
Most viewed Results are sorted by most viewed Products
Relevance Results are sorted by most relevant Products

Products tab - List/grid view

Grid View:

  1. Open store page

  2. Go to Products tab (from navigation bar)

  3. Click on the icon of the grid (next to sort by options)

List View: 1. Open store page

  1. Go to Products tab (from navigation bar)

  2. Click on the icon of the list(next to sort by options)

Grid View:

  1. Result view has been changed to the grid (with cards)

List View:

  1. Result view has been changed to the list (with rows)

Brands tab in the top Navigation

Brands tab - Search bar

  1. Open store home page

  2. Navigate to Product tab

  3. Click into Search field

  4. Type any phrase

  1. Open store page

  2. Go to Formulations tab (from navigation bar)

  3. Once page is loaded, click on the any filter (Markets is not a filter)

  4. Select first filter from the list

  3. Once page is loaded, click on the Labeling claims filter

  4. Select Natural from the list

Mega Menu

Mega menu links navigate to proper page

  1. Open store home page

  2. On hover the technologies (at the navigation bar)

  3. Once mega menu opened, click on any link

User has been redirected to search page with the chosen category

Search Filters

User is able to search for filters within All Filters

  1. Open your.store

  2. Go to Products tab

  3. Click on any category

  4. Click on All Filters

  5. Once all filters opened, click any filter

  6. Go to the search bar and type a filter name

  7. Select a filter

  8. Click apply filters in the top right corner

Your results have changed based on your selected filter

User is able to choose a property filter

  1. Open your.store

  2. Go to Products tab

  3. Click on Plastics

  4. Click on All Filters

  5. Once all filters opened, click Mechanical Properties

  6. Click Strain at Break and slide the handles

  7. Click apply filters in the top right corner

Request a Document

Request Document from Product page

  1. Login to your.store
  2. Navigate to product page
  3. From Product page Click on Request Document button
  4. Select the type of document
  5. Select your market from the drop down
  6. Request note (Optional)
  7. Click on Submit Request button

You have submitted a document request

Request a Sample

Request Sample from Product page

  1. Open store page

  2. Navigate to Products page

  3. Open any product

  4. Click ‘Request Sample’ button

  5. Fill in the required fields

  6. Click ‘Next’ button

  7. Fill required fields (add address if needed)

  8. Click Submit request button

Request a Quote

Request Quote from Product page

Request Quote

  1. Login to your.store

  2. Navigate to product page

  3. From Power box click on Request a Quote

  4. Select your market from the drop down

  5. Fulfill "How do you plan to use this product" field

  6. Provide annual volume and units

  7. Select delivery address (if address not exist add new one)

  8. Click Next

  9. Once next page is loaded, provide shipping contact phone number (with prefix) and additional information

10. Click Submit Request

You have submitted a quote request

Messenger

Messenger Authentication

  1. Navigate to the your.store home page as not logged user

  2. Click on Talk to experts bubble (bottom right corner)

  3. Type and send any message

  4. Click on Sign In below the Business Email input

  5. Go with Sign In / Sign Up flow

It is possible to Sign In / Sign Up from messenger

Send a message by logging in with just your email

  1. Navigate to store home page

  2. Click Messenger widget (right bottom corner of page)

  3. Type any message and click send

  4. Type existing email into 'Business email' field

  5. Click send

  6. Go to your inbox and find the verification email

  7. Click verify

  8. You can now send a message in the chat

An anonymous users is able to send a message

Send a message by logging in with just your account

  1. Open store home page

  2. Log in as buyer user (from a company other than )

  3. Click Messenger widget (right bottom corner of page)

  4. Type any message

A signed in user is able to send a message

Sending a buyer a product in the messenger with an your.store link

  1. Open DSD (Digital Selling Dashboard https://www.knowde.com/conversations ) as an Expert

  2. Go to your your.store inbox

  3. Open conversation

  4. Use the send product button

  5. Choose any product to send

  1. There is an your.store link to the product in the message

  2. There is an your.store link to the product in the mail notification

Buer Account Manager

Edit your buyer profile

  1. Navigate your.store

  2. Click on Sign In and log in to any account

  3. Click on Account Pill (top right) > Edit Account

  4. Edit

    1. First Name

    2. Last Name

    3. Job Title

    4. Department

    5. Market of Interest

    6. Phone Number

  5. Click Save

All informations updated in My Profile section

View Sample Request Details for a previously submitted request

  1. Open store home page

  2. Log in as buyer account (any user from a different company than your own)

  3. Click on User Icon in right top of site

  4. Click 'Sample request" in procurement area

  5. Click any of requests in grid

Data about chosen request should be visible for customer and requester section, button 'View product page' button should be visible, status of request should be visible

View Document Request Details for a previously submitted request

  1. Open store home page

  2. Log in as buyer account (any user from a different company than your own )

  3. Click on User Icon in right top of site

  4. Click 'Document Request" in procurement area

  5. Click any of requests in grid

Data about chosen request should be visible for customer and requester section,

View Quote Request Details for a previously submitted request

  1. Open store home page

  2. Log in as buyer account (any user from different company than your own)

  3. Click on User Icon in right top of site

  4. Click 'RFQ' in procurement area

  5. Click any of requests in grid

Data about chosen request should be visible for customer and requester section, button 'View product page' button should be visible, status of request should be visible

Seller Account Manager

Navigate to your admin account manager from your.store

  1. Navigate to the your.store home page as anonymous user

  2. Click Sign In button

  3. Enter your current business email for your admin account and click Continue

  4. Click the account manager in the top right corner

  5. Notice the dropdown, click any field

  6. Navigate to Knowde already logged in

View the seller account manager

Update a Product/Brand/Storefront from the Storefront editor - Image

  1. Navigate to https://www.knowde.com/ and log in to user with company_admin role

  2. Click on account pill (top right) and click on View Storefront

  3. Click on Edit Page

  4. Update any image (logo, market, etc.)

  5. Click Save and Done

  6. Navigate to any product and click Edit Page

  7. Update Image and click Save and Done

  8. Navigate to any brand and click Edit Page

  9. Update Image and click Save and Done

All changes visible in your.store page after max 1 hour 

Update a Product/Brand/Storefront from the Storefront editor - Description

  1. Navigate to https://www.knowde.com/ and log in to user with company_admin role

  2. Click on account pill (top right) and click on View Storefront

  3. Click on Edit Page

  4. Update any text

  5. Click Save and Done

  6. Navigate to any product and click Edit Page

  7. Update any text and click Save and Done

  8. Navigate to any brand and click Edit Page

  9. Update any text and click Save and Done

All changes visible in your.store page after max 1 hour
